Rider Courses - Experienced

Experienced Rider Course:
The Experienced Rider Course was developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation as a skill polishing course for riders with at least 3 months of riding experience. The Workshop consists of a full day of instruction: about 3 and one-half hours in the Classroom, followed by about 4 hours of hands-on riding instruction all taught by MSF Certified Instructors.

The Classroom sessions cover risk management, the relationship between mental and physical riding skills, traction management and developing a riding strategy. On the Range you'll practice proper braking techniques: Straight line stops, stopping on curves, rapid stops (both straight line and in curves); controlling rear wheel skids, countersteering for swerving, countersteering for cornering, and the use of counterbalancing skills for tighter turns. The exercises combine to provide a full understanding of motorcycle dynamics.

Upon satisfactory completion of the ERC you will receive a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Course completion card, entitling you to a 10% discount with most insurance companies.

Fee: $110.00
